Catina K. Taylor, a native of Kansas City, began her teaching career in July 2000 after receiving her law degree. Instead of entering the legal profession, she responded to the call to fill the teacher shortage that was occurring in the Kansas City Public Schools.

In her role as Education Coordinator/Chief Operations Officer, Catina was responsible for the development and growth of the GED program, served as internal co-leader of the organization, and developed system tools that helped the organization function more effectively.
